It's hard to believe that my, once little, girl is now 20 years old!
Where on earth did the time go!
Is it really that long since she started to walk, she looked
such a little doll, sat up in her Silver Cross pram.
I can remember her first day at school, her first swimming lesson,
the first time she went to dance classes and her very first solo win :)
The memory is such a wonderful thing that can be sparked off by
a photo, I can usually remember when the photo was taken
and that's a lot of memories as I have thousands, litterally.
I have a book that I fill in from time to time,
it's called 'Memories for my Daughter', it tells her what I was
like as a teen, and when I met her Dad, and how I felt when
she was born, and about what she was like as a baby,
I love filling it in, as I remember it all over again :)

From the time Claire was able to talk
she had very strong opinions on everything,
never one to agree with you just for the sake of it,
always ready to have the last word and NEVER wrong!
Which is not a bad thing, just infuriating at times!
I honestly think that from the moment she said hello to her teens
she became even stronger, sometimes scarily so!
Believe me I usually loose the argument, lol.
Claire is a very caring person and feels things very deeply, she is easily
hurt
by things that happen to others, especially when she thinks it's unjust.
She can be my best friend or my worst enemy, I think we are very similar
and that's why when we clash no-one backs down!
She is a very strong and possitive person, yet she still
seeks our approval and reassurance, which we will always give her.
I fully believe that she will achieve whatever she sets out to do,
and whatever that may be now or in the future,
she has our love and blessings,
we love you so very much Claire.
