Maria and her Sister Suzie were
the first children that my parents Fostered.
Maria was the happiest, dizziest and clumsiest! and the most loveing
of them all, her Sister Suzie was the opposite almost,
she was very defensive and protective of her little Sister,
she stated on the very first day that our home was ok but that
they were not going to stay with us! yet in the next few years
on and off they would both stay with us and were members
of our family, then when Maria was 13
she came to live with us permanently.
When Suzie and Marie came to stay with us they were just about to
celebrate their Birthdays, Suzie was to be 7 and Maria would be 5,
I rememeber my Mum made them the cutest matching dresses and
we had a bit party with kids from all around the street,
it was a great day and they loved it.
Maria is as dizzy and loving as ever and she now lives quite close
to everyone, we see her all the time and Maria started her
Social Work Degree in September 2003, at Salford University,
so we will both graduate in 2006, should be interesting to compare
courses and eventually jobs.
Wishing you luck and happiness Maria,
lot's of love for the future from me, xxx.
